Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, reiterated his trust that the faithful efforts and dialogue between the leaderships of the region and the center to strengthen the common relations, fight terrorism and move the country towards progress and prosperity. This came when his eminence was receiving in his office in Baghdad, on Saturday, November 1st, 2014, the vice president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mr. Kosrat Rasul, and the accompanying delegation.
 
    For his part, Mr. Rasul praised, during the meeting attended by the PUK general assembly official Mulla Bekhtyar and a number of the PUK council members, the efforts of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim aiming to mend the fences and build common relations that serve the country’s interests, and to overcome the difficulties in order to reach strong relationships for the interest of the region and the center. The two sides also discussed the bilateral relations between the Supreme Council and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, as well as a number of issues pertaining to the security, politics and the fight against the destabilizing terrorism.
