    In the Ninth Evening of Muharram, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim: Islam’s Call to People to Think is Best Reply to Anyone One Accusing it of Narrow-Mindedness and Blocking People


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of thinking, explaining that this process gives humans the ability to diagnose and sort things and prevent them from reaching the hereafter torture. His eminence insisted that the focus of Islam and Quran on thinking is the best reply to anyone accusing Islam of being a call to narrow-mindedness and of blocking people.
    This came in the ninth evening of Muharram held at his eminence’s office in Baghdad on Sunday, November 2, 2014.
        His eminence warned against not thinking, pointing out that a nation that does not think can be invaded intellectually, culturally and economically. He also highlighted in the same time the importance of a right environment that favors illuminative thinking, clarifying that disturbance in life is due to the lack of a vision, of a goal, of a strategic plan. His eminence mentioned in this regard the man of the occasion Ali Al Akbar, underlining that he was a man of insight who died being right, for the right.
