Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, said Imam Hussain's revolution is part of the divine plan to lead the humanity and a message conveyed by Allah to his servants, and the 10th night is that of sorrow, misfortune and an introduction to the biggest massacre, considering Hussain as the course and project of the prophet (PBUH) and by killing him, the project of the messenger of Allah was intended to be eliminated. He also explained that by targeting Hussain (AS), the ideal values and principles were intended to be targeted.
This came during the 10th night of Muharram held at his Eminence's office in Baghdad on November 3, 2014.
His Eminence stated that the reflection resolves the issues, makes the vision clear, and leads to insight, showing that Hussain (AS) was aware of his destiny and never sought power. He said this is not a matter of feelings and emotions, but a matter of vision and advocacy for the ideal principles and values represented in the greatest human examples.
