    During a Meeting with the Head of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Stresses the Need to Force Terrorism Out and Calls for Adopting Moderation in the Political and Religious Speech


        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the need to force terrorism out since it constitutes a danger to everyone, calling for adopting moderation in the political and religious speech, while emphasizing the importance of filling the vacancies in all Iraqi government departments.
    This came in a meeting held between his Eminence, on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his office in Baghdad and Mr. Ayad al-Samarrai, head of the Iraqi Islamic Party and the accompanying members of the party, Mr. Nassir al-Ani and Mr. Rasheed al- Azzawi.
        During the meeting, they have discussed the political and security situation and how to fight terrorism in the country, as well as how to consolidate the relations and the cooperation between the Supreme Council and the Islamic party in many areas. There was also emphasis on the importance of committing to the right Islamic cultures and frameworks and to promote peaceful coexistence between Iraqis according to the Islamic principles.
