Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his office in Baghdad with the Vice President of Iraq, Mr. Usama al-Nujayfi.
Both sides have discussed the developments of the security and political situation and the victories achieved by the security forces and the popular crowd, the last of which was the liberation of Baiji city. They have also discussed the support of the international coalition for Iraq so as to preserve its hegemony, renewing his trust in the capacity of the security forces and the popular crowd to free the Iraqi cities and to drive the terrorist ISIS out.
