Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his office in Baghdad with Mr. Ali al-Adeeb.
Both sides discussed the developments of the political process in Iraq and the visits made by the officials to the neighboring countries and their role in consolidating the relations between Iraq and those countries, as well as the support of the international coalition for Iraq. For his part, his Eminence praised the victories achieved by the security apparatuses and the popular crowd on many fronts the last of which were the liberation of Baiji city and the lift of the blockade on Baiji refinery.
In fact, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim promised in an early time the Iraqi people of more victories that will be achieved by the security forces in the next days,
