    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Meets with the Prime Minister of Turkey, Mr. Ahmet Davutoglu and Discusses with Him the Bilateral Relations between Both Countries


        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met on Thursday, November 20, 2014 with the Prime Minister of Turkey, Mr. Ahmet Davutoglu who is currently visiting Iraq.
     
        Both sides discussed the bilateral relations between both countries and the developments of the security and political situation in the region. For his part, his Eminence said that the ISIS is a malign tumor and must be eliminated through concerted efforts, calling for resolving all the pending problems between the neighbor countries through dialogue in such a way as to ensure everyone's rights. He also stated that the mutual visits have a positive effect since they keep the communication that leads to solutions that are satisfactory to all parties, reiterating that the Iraqi security forces and the popular crowd can drive the ISIS gangs out, while praising their efforts in liberating many Iraqi regions, last of which was Baiji city.
