Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad on Saturday, November 22, 2014, a delegation from the Lebanese Amal movement representing Mr. Nabih Berri.
Were discussed during the meeting the political situation in Iraq and the region and the danger of ISIS on the peoples. His eminence highlighted the deep relation joining the two countries and peoples of Iraq and Lebanon, stressing the need to unite the efforts of all political, social and religious efforts in the region to face and eliminate ISIS.
    For its part, the Amal movement delegation explained that its meeting with Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim was fruitful where visions were aligned in terms of the Iraqi, Lebanese and regional situations. The delegation members conveyed the greetings of the secretary general of Amal, Mr. Nabih Berri to his eminence, and affirmed their solidarity with the Iraqi people in its fight against ISIS and its political process. They finally indicated that ISIS is a project targeting the peoples of the region and the true Islamic religion.
