    While Visiting the Cities of Al Saadiyah and Jalawla, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Warns Against Targeting the Popular Crowd and Undermining Its Victories


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, warned against targeting the popular crowd and undermining its victories, calling on the leaderships of the crowd to strike with an iron hand all gangs and mafias who attempts to use the title of the popular crowd and assault citizens under this name. His eminence explained that the high-level coordination between the security forces, the popular crowd and the Peshmerga is another evidence of the brotherhood of Arabs and Kurds. He also expressed his hope of continuing the efforts to entirely free Diyala.
    This came when his eminence was visiting the cities of Al Saadiyah and Jalawla that were recently freed from     the grip of ISIS, On Wednesday, November 26th, 2014.
    His eminence considered that the liberation of the regions of Al Saadiyah and Jalawla, and before them, Baiji, Jurf Al Sakhr and Amerli, is a historical step, highlighting the national role played by the popular crowd in this crisis. He expressed his refusal of any attacks against the popular crowd, and called on the tribes of the western region to hold together and stand up against ISIS which does not make any distinctions. Furthermore, his eminence stated that he’s looking forward to seeking thousands of the citizens of these regions in the training centers to purify their regions and Iraq from ISIS and to protect the national experience.
