    In A Meeting with The Representative of UN Secretary-General, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Stresses the Need to Keep Weapons under the Exclusive Control of The Government and To Resist against the Organized Crime Gangs

     
    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council, stressed the need to keep weapons under the exclusive control of the government, calling on the security forces to make extraordinary efforts to maintain security and to resist against the organized crime gangs. His eminence commended the triumphs of the security forces, the popular crowd and Peshmerga over ISIL terrorist gangs.
    This came in a meeting held between His eminence, on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, in his office in Baghdad and the representative of the UN Secretary General in Iraq, Nikolai Miladinov.
     His eminence stressed the need to pass important laws quickly in order to strengthen the unity of the components, underlining the adoption of the equality in introducing laws to please everyone. His eminence called on resolving the problems between the center and the region, particularly in the oil file, expressing his thanks to the efforts of the United Nations in supporting Iraq internationally and regionally in its war against ISIL. He also focused on supporting Iraq in reducing its debts taken from creditor nations and urged the international community to mobilize its forces against ISIL. His eminence commended the countries that opened up to Iraq and provided support to him.
