Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Commends the Visitors of Imam Hussain on the Arba’een and Calls for Never Disclaiming Responsibility and for Sticking to the Positions

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, said the million-people procession for the Arba’een gathering to which all believers of all denominations, religions, ethnicities and nationalities have been constantly participating show that it is a message for the humanity and not limited to a specific people or ethnicity. He noted that the participants have come today from all over the world to convey a peaceful position and message, i.e. the message of the master of martyrs in challenging the tyrants, the oppressors, the terrorism and the terrorist of all times and places. His Eminence reminded that the companions of Imam Hussain (AS) on al-Taff day were from different nationalities and religions and had one goal and one project in common, namely to achieve victory for the sake of all men. This came in a speech delivered by his Eminence in al-Hakim village in Maysan province during his participation along with all believers in the Arba’een procession toward the holy city of Karbala on Saturday 29/11/2014. His Eminence also stated that the commitment to defend the right and to counter the terrorist gangs that attack all the components of the country require that we act with the spirit of the project undertaken by Hussein (AS) in sticking to the principles until achieving the purple victory if Allah wills. Sayyid al-Hakim hoped that some problems do not constitute a reason to disclaim responsibility and not to assume it properly, warning against finding excuses for this, and saying  that we have lots of work to carry out and a project to implement.
