In the Speech Addressed to the Convoy of Ash Shatrah People, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim: Adherence to the Project of Imam Hussain is Growing Each Year and Iraq is the Cradle of Reform
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stated that adherence to Hussain (AS) is growing each year, giving as an example the increase of numbers. His eminence highlighted that the course of Hussain is the rising course. He also congratulated the visitors of Hussain for adhering to the project of Hussain and called them to demand the adherence to Hussain, indicating that Iraq was the place that witnessed the historic conflict between right and wrong, which makes it thus the cradle of reform when the Lord of the Time reappears.
This came in his eminence’s speech addressed to the people of Ash Shatrah in holy Karbala’ on December 12, 2014.
His eminence explained that the love for Hussain is an ember that will never get cold like the messenger of Allah (pbuh) once said. He added that affiliation to Hussain does not necessarily mean having been in Karbala in 61 A.H. but it means adhering to the right and to the course of Hussain. Sayyid Al Hakim finally maintained that the problem of Hussain was not with his character but with his course and revolution against corruption and corrupt people, and against injustice and oppressors.
