Assuring that Iraq is for All Iraqis, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Meets Sheikh Hashemi Rafsanjani

Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, assured that the power and cohesion of the Iraqi social structure has angered the enemies and pushed them to commit terrorist and brutal practices against the Iraqi people of all components. His eminence insisted that Iraq is for all Iraqis and that cooperation among its components and forces is the guarantor of the stability, security and integrity of the country.
This came during the meeting of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim with the chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council of the Islamic Republic, Sheikh Hashemi Rafsanjani, in Tehran on Monday, January 5th, 2014.
For his part, Sheikh Rafsanjani stressed the need for unity and solidarity between Muslims in Islamic countries especially in Iraq, warning against the attempts to drag Muslims into internal wars and the emergence of extremist Takfiri groups. Furthermore, Sheikh Rafsanjani highlighted the importance of cooperation between Iraq and Iran in different fields, especially in the presence of common grounds to develop this cooperation, like the resources, geographic location, the religious and dogmatic common points and others.
Sheikh Rafsanjani also praised the generosity of the Iraqi people, especially manifested in the last Araba’een visit, underlining that the principles of the Imams of Ahl Al Bayt (AS) call everyone to have virtuous morals, respect the others and not offending the adepts of other sects.
