Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Meets Iran’s Judiciary Chief
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met Iran’s judiciary chief Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Sadeq Amoli Larijani in Tehran on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015.
The meeting tackled the ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in different fields, so as to ensure the interests of the two friend countries and peoples. Were also discussed the Iraqis’ aspirations to eliminate the criminal gangs of ISIS and purify the land of Iraq from the filth.
For his part, Sheikh Amoli Larijani stated that he is content with the Iraqi successes over ISIS and expressed Iran’s desire to strengthen its relations with Iraq and fight against terrorist groups who represent a common enemy for both countries.
