    During His Meeting with the International Coalition Coordinator, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Calls the Coalition to Increase Its Level of Performance and Seriousness in the War Against ISIS


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, highlighted the fears and concerns of the Iraqi people with regards to the level of performance and seriousness of the international coalition in its war against the terrorist group of ISIS, calling on the United States and the international community to prove their eagerness to and seriousness in fighting terrorism and helping the Iraqi government and people better to defeat this criminal group.
        This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim was receiving American general John Allen, the coordinator of the international coalition against ISIS, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in his eminence’s office in Baghdad, where both sides considered the developments in Iraq as well as on the regional and international levels.
    His eminence also called on the United States to urge the Bahraini government to release Sheikh Ali Al Salman, as he represents the moderation front in the pacific Bahraini opposition, underlining the negative repercussions that the arrest of Bahraini opposition leader for a long time might have.
        For his part, the international coalition coordinator informed his eminence of the progress of the operations and the performance of the collation forces against ISIS in Iraq, as well as of the political and security efforts aiming to fight terrorism in the world.
