Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with Mr. Salim al-Jabbouri how to Pass the Budget and Insists that the Employees’ Salaries and the Retirement Pensions Are Red Line
On Wednesday, January 14, 2015, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met with the speaker of Iraqi parliament, Mr. Salim al-Jabbouri at the latter’s office. Both parties discussed the political and security developments in the country as well as the passing of the important laws, including the law on public budget. His Eminence said it is necessary to pass the budget while keeping intact the employees’ salaries and the retirement pensions, considering them as red line not to be crossed.
