Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad on Thursday, January 15, 2015, the governor of Kirkuk Dr. Najmaldin Karim who informed his eminence of the general situation in Kirkuk and the mechanism to support the displaced.
Karim assured that the visit to Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim is very important as it allows listening to his viewpoints about Kirkuk, underlining the significance of strengthening the communication between the federal government and the province of Kirkuk and stressing the need to communicate to eliminate ISIS.
For his part, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim affirmed that Kirkuk is a city of peaceful coexistence regrouping all the components of the Iraqi people, calling to care for the displaced and double the efforts to relieve their suffering under these difficult circumstances.
