Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, participated in the mourning gathering held for the deceased scholar Sayyid Ali Al Musawi in the province of Basra on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
    During his meeting with the deceased’s son, Sayyid Abdel Al ‘Al-Musawi, parents and sons, his eminence expressed his deepest condolences praying the Almighty to have mercy on the soul of the deceased and grant his parents patience.
For his part, the deceased’s son extended his gratitude to Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim for travelling all the way to share with the deceased’s relatives and beloved their affliction, praying the All-Powerful to spare his eminence any mishap.
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim had issued a statement in which he declared the death of Sayyid Ali     Al Musawi, describing him as a poised person who dedicated his live to the noble human values and worked to promote the principles of Islam, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence among the citizens of one country and among all sects.
