Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council in Iraq, received, in his office in Baghdad, Monday January 19th, 2015, the Syriac orthodox archbishop Severius Hawa and the Armenian church archbishop of Iraq, Avak Asadourian.
His Eminence discussed with them the Christians’ conditions in Iraq and how to reduce the suffering of the displaced ones, reiterating that Christians are not measured by their numbers; yet, they are a good addition to the Iraqi society.
