The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, received Sharif Ali Bin al-Hussein in his office in Baghdad on Monday, February 9, 2015.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in the country and the victories accomplished by the security forces, the popular crowd, the Peshmerga and the tribes over the gangs of ISIS, as well as the efforts made by the different political forces to support the Iraqi government in implementing its platform aiming to achieve real national reconciliation.
For his part, Sharif Ali Bin al-Hussein expressed his appreciation of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim’s role in bringing the viewpoints of national Iraqi parties closer together, to enhance the internal front and reinforce the cohesion of the Iraqi community.
