Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, called again the institution of political prisoners to recognize the cause of the people of Rafha and speed up the administrative formalities, in order to grant them the rights that were guaranteed by the special law adopted more than a year and a half ago by the Iraqi parliament. His eminence praised the resistance and patriotism that characterize the citizens of Rafha, especially in their fight against the former regime and their role in defending the national project in the new Iraq.
This came when his eminence was receiving a delegation from the Rafha camp refugees, in his office in Baghdad, on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
His eminence highlighted the special relationship that linked the Martyr of the Niche (may Allah sanctify his soul) to the people of Rafha during the rule of the former regime, and mentioned how he followed their cause and mentioned their sacrifices and patriotism as an example. Sayyid Al Hakim also mentioned the Martyr of the Niche’s eagerness, after the fall of the former regime, to bring them support and prompt them to reorganize their internal conditions and to establish their special entities, in order to pursue their role in building the country and defending the holies.
