    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses Political Developments and Victories of the “Labbayka Rassul Allah” Battle with Dr. Al Abadi


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, affirmed that victory is near and will be soon notified to the Iraqi people, praising the high determination of the combatants.
    This came when his eminence received Prime Minister Dr. Haidar Al Abadi in his office in Baghdad on Friday, March 14, 2015.
        The two sides discussed the political developments in the country and the consecutive victories achieved by the security forces, the popular crowd, Iraqi tribe members and the Peshmerga forces in the “Labbayka Rassul Allah (Here I am at your service O Messenger of Allah)” battle.
        His eminence stressed again the importance of unity in facing the terrorism that is targeting everyone, calling upon the international coalition to more seriousness in its confrontation with terrorism. He also insisted on preserving the sovereignty of Iraq and praised the role all friend countries who responded to the call for help launched by Iraq after last June events, on top of which the Islamic Republic of Iraq who put its full weight to it.
        Were also discussed the general situation in the provinces and the need to give them full mandates to provide services to the people. His eminence highlighted the importance of enacting laws that could enable local governments to perform their duties and prevent overlapping with ministries. He called to speed up the enactment of the important laws and end the management of positions by proxy.
        Furthermore, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim discussed with Dr. Al Abadi and the delegation of Dawa Party the mechanism to reconstruct the regions destructed by terrorism, underlining his support to the creation of a fund for the reconstruction of the cities destroyed by ISIS. His eminence wished that the fund would get a global support, as Iraq is fighting a war on terrorism on behalf of the world and the region. He highlighted again the importance of national reconciliation, the concession of some blocs for others, meeting half-way, and not looking for quick benefit but to the benefit of Iraq and to public interest. He also mentioned the implementation of the government platform, and stated that the national alliance is eager to build trust among all political blocs.
    It should be mentioned that the meeting was attended by leaders from the Islamic Dawa Party who formed a delegation headed by Prime Minister Dr. Al Abadi.
