Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met the Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Dr. Salim al-Jubouri, and a number of the National Union Front forces in His Eminence’s office in Baghdad, on Monday March 16, 2015.
His Eminence discussed with al-Jubouri the security developments, especially after the liberation of many cities in Salahuddin in “Beck O Messenger of God” battle, highlighting the support of the security forces and popular crowd in their fateful battle against the terrorist ISIS. His Eminence praised as well the role of the Iraqi tribes and their support to the security forces and popular crowd, showing by this the national cohesion, without forgetting the role of the Peshmerga. 
    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discussed with al-Jubouri the Parliament’s role in the national reconciliation issue and post-ISIS phase, while reassuring the Iraqi street and restoring the national cohesion, pointing out to the importance of hastening the enactment of important laws, including the Federal Court, oil, gas, parties and National Guard.
