Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Receives Syrian Ambassador and Affirms: Our Victories Over ISIS Have Proved the Depth of National Cohesion
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, affirmed that the victories achieved by the security forces and the popular crowd against the terrorist gangs of ISIS have proved the depth of national cohesion among Iraqis, indicating that ISIS is a danger to the country and to the entire region.
This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim received the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Iraq, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, at his office in Baghdad, on Sunday, April 5, 2015.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two brother countries and the victories achieved by the Iraqi forces over ISIS, as well as the situation in the region and the world.
