Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of providing the best services to Basra citizens, calling for executing the program of Citizen’s Coalition with the available means, praising the efforts made albeit the economic distress Iraq is going through in general.
This came during a meeting held on 5/4/2015 between his Eminence at his office in Baghdad with Basra governor, Mr. Majid Nasrawi.
His Eminence stressed the importance of communicating with the Basra skills in the country and abroad, saying the tribal feuds north of the province must come to an end and the tribal seniors must assume their responsibilities in ending such phenomenon and engaging in the reconciliation.
