Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Insists on Providing Care to the Popular Crowd Members, the Wounded and Families of Martyrs

Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the need to provide care to the popular crowd members and the wounded and ensure the best medical services to them. His eminence also explained how important it is to present care to the families of martyrs who sacrificed their most precious possession, their souls. He called on the citizen’s bloc members in parliament and local governments to visit the field and sustain communication with the people.
This came when his eminence was heading a meeting held for the citizen’s bloc in parliament and local governments in the presence of the bloc’s ministers, on Monday, 6/4/2015.
His eminence called to defend the popular crowd and refuse the campaign organized against it, affirming that the popular crowd is working under a legal and legitimate cover, with the State’s weapon and under the command of the general commander of the armed forces. He finally added that the term “militia” does not apply to the popular crowd.
