Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses Bilateral Relations with French Ambassador
Sayyid Ammar al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghda on Thursday, 14/4/2015, the French ambassador to Baghdad, Marc Barety. The two sides discussed during the meeting the security developments and the victories achieved by the security forces, the tribes and the popular crowd. They also tackled the general economic situation and the decrease of oil prices, as well as the regional situation and the war in Yemen along with its repercussions and a number of issues of common interest.
For his part, ambassador Barety expressed his country's willingness to increase economic cooperation and the level of investment in the country, and to expand bilateral relations so as to serve common interests.
