In His Meeting with the United Nations Representative for Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim States: The National Cohesion of Iraqis Has Achieved the Victories over Terrorist ISIS
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, affirmed that the national cohesion well-established among all the components of the Iraqi people was the reason for achieving these victories over the terrorist ISIS gangs. His eminence explained that the win-win theory ensures justice, balance and victory and prepares the ground for the advancement and comprehensive development of Iraq.
This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim received in his office in Baghdad on Saturday 18/4/2015, the new special representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Iraq, Ján Kubiš.
For his part, the UN representative praised the efforts and visions of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim and their role in the success and continuation of the political process. He also highlighted the UN’s eagerness to increase the international and regional support to Iraq in its endeavors to eliminate the terrorist ISIS, insisting on the international organization’s readiness to support Iraq’s efforts towards accomplishing a true national reconciliation.
