SAYYID AMMAR AL-HAKIM CALLS ON OFFICIALS TO PUT AN END TO SECURITY BREACHES

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), stressed that the criteria of iman (belief) and piety are represented in the religious values, the sound heart and mind, explaining that the sound heart naturally does not accept looking at what is prohibitive.
His Holiness pointed out in his talk during the 11th Ramadan evening on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at his Baghdad office that weakness before a prohibitive look means a need for more work on self-discipline, stressing the importance of abandoning all matters that are not in harmony with the religious values and responsibilities.
His Holiness pointed out, in another aspect of his talk, to barrier as being the entrance for ensuring personal liberty, drawing attention to women bearing part of the responsibility for being harassed, while the other part is borne by man, explaining that modesty and dignity can prevent the harassment of women.
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim offered condolences to the Iraqi citizens for the martyrdom of a group of Iraqis as a result of the treacherous incident in Baghdad yesterday which caused the martyrdom and the wounding of scores of people. He called on the officials and security commanders to undertake the measures that ensure putting an end to the Iraqi blood letting as a result of these security breaches, expressing his amazement at a number of terrorists controlling a serious security post in broad daylight and in the heart of Baghdad.
