As part of his Ramadan tours, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, visited the unions of engineers, jurists, and bar association, extending his blessings for the holy month and the approaching Eid al-Fitr. He emphasized the necessity of utilizing these blessed days for spiritual and social aspects.
H.E. listened to explanations from them about the work of these unions, the tasks they undertake, the challenges they face, and the opportunities available to them, and discussed the state of stability and urban and service development in the country, emphasizing the need to strengthen and support the government's role, which is a responsibility shared by all. H.E. stressed the importance of the unions playing a larger role in the development process, especially the Engineers Union, considering this sector's involvement in planning, design, and implementation. H.E. also emphasized the need for synergy in performance with governmental institutions, the private sector, and unions.
H.E. praised the role played by the unions in defending the rights of the segments they represent and the role of these segments in society, especially the efforts of lawyers and human rights activists in advocating for citizens' rights and defending them. H.E. emphasized the importance of treating the segments represented by these unions fairly and granting them their natural entitlements, calling for the amendment of laws related to the work of these unions. H.E. also highlighted the importance of these segments producing representatives to legislative bodies.
