Sayyid Al-Hakeem stresses culture, art to face challenges
During our meeting with the representative of the Iranian Ministry of Culture for media and communications, Dr. Farshad Mehdi Bor, and his accompanying delegation on 4/5/2024, where they discussed the cultural and communication landscapes of both nations, as well as the potential for enhancing the relationship between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Throughout the meeting, His Eminence stressed sharing expertise across cultural, artistic, and documentation domains. Recognizing the necessity for cultural programs within Islamic communities to safeguard against cultural incursions and deviant ideologies. Moreover, advocating for the support of dramatic works and artistic endeavors, along with leveraging modern technology for effective dissemination.
Additionally, H.E. reiterated the appeal for the cessation of hostilities in Gaza, holding the international community responsible for the dire consequences of ongoing atrocities, including massacres, starvation, and genocide.
