    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Al-Kut Fire Victims Families, Calls for Fair Compensation, Accountability, Measures to Prevent Future Tragedies

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met this evening with several families of the victims of the Al-Kut fire, extending his heartfelt condolences and praying to Allah Almighty to grant the victims His boundless mercy and to bless their loved ones with patience and solace.
    H.E. stressed the importance of delivering justice to the victims’ families through meaningful financial and moral compensation, emphasizing the need to hold those responsible accountable and to implement measures that would prevent the recurrence of such painful tragedies.
    H.E. commended the awareness and integrity of the people of Al-Kut, particularly the victims’ families, who rejected politicization and exploitation of their humanitarian cause, noting that this noble stance reflects the depth of the Iraqi people’s consciousness and their commitment to demanding rights without engaging in political posturing.
    H.E. called for this heartbreaking incident to serve as a lesson in strengthening safety standards, oversight, and strict accountability measures to protect lives and preserve human dignity.
