Sayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Responsible Electoral Competition, to Promote Al-Hikma National Movement’s Moderation in Advisory Board Meeting
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, chaired the periodic meeting of the Movement’s Advisory Board, commending the tireless efforts that ensured the success of the Husseini season, the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and the commemoration of the passing of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and his family). H.E. expressed high appreciation for the exceptional services provided by the holy shrines, the government, and the Husseini processions and organizations to pilgrims of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) from Iraq and abroad.
Addressing the electoral process, H.E. stressed the importance of managing electoral competition responsibly across all arenas and preventing the misuse of state resources for campaign purposes. H.E. noted that effective management of this competition would pave the way for a constructive post-election phase and support upcoming political obligations. H.E. also affirmed that discussions about postponing the elections are unfounded and that all parties are committed to holding them on schedule, calling on citizens to participate actively and informed.
On internal matters, His Eminence reiterated the importance of strengthening institutional development within Al-Hikma National Movement and advancing its structure in line with the principles of moderation and centrism—values that have played a key role in safeguarding Iraq and securing its current stability. H.E. also urged bolstering field presence and fostering a spirit of optimism and positivity among the Iraqi people.
