Sayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Prioritizing Iraq’s Interests, Rejecting Exclusion, Strengthening National Partnership

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a group of sheikhs and dignitaries from Albu Arif Bani Hassan tribe and the province of Najaf, in the presence of the Governor of Najaf. His Eminence underscored the importance of prioritizing Iraq’s national interests amid the complex regional circumstances surrounding the country.
H.E. called for openness toward all parties both domestically and internationally, rejecting any form of exclusion—whether within Iraq or in its regional environment—emphasizing that the principle of inclusion fosters reassurance and broadens the horizons for peaceful coexistence.
H.E. noted that Iraq has overcome numerous challenges that ultimately strengthened the nation, through Allah’s grace, the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority, the wisdom of political leaders, and the awareness and honor of Iraq’s noble tribes. These challenges, H.E. explained, were security, political, and social in nature.
H.E. stressed that the upcoming elections represent a turning point between fragile stability and lasting stability, urging the adoption of an inclusive approach and the reinforcement of national partnership both inside and outside Iraq instead of exclusionary practices.
Addressing the state of the education sector, H.E. pointed out that it continues to face difficulties in its institutions, curricula, teaching methods, and educational staff. H.E. called for empowering those within this vital sector and intensifying efforts in the remaining period to achieve the desired goals.
