Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Upcoming Elections to Decide Cementing Iraq’s Lasting Stability

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025, with a group of women supporters of the Alliance.
His Eminence reflected on the challenges Iraq and the broader region have faced, particularly over the past two years, noting that Iraq stood at the heart of the storm yet managed to overcome it through the dedication and sincerity of its people, successfully shielding the country from the consequences of surrounding crises and conflicts.
H.E. emphasized the critical importance of the upcoming elections in moving Iraq from fragile stability to lasting stability, stressing the need for moderate forces to take the lead in the political arena. H.E. stated: “We do not act merely to win; we act to protect and save Iraq amid the dangers and upheavals the region is undergoing.”
H.E. further underscored that political and social engagement must be carried out with sincere devotion to Allah Almighty and in preparation for the reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).
Concluding the meeting, H.E. stressed that the final phase is what truly defines outcomes, urging intensified effort and focused action during the remaining ten days, encouraging citizens to participate in the elections and to support the project of moderation.
