Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises National State Powers Alliance Candidates, Stresses: Work Must Be for the Sake of Allah and Iraq’s Interest Above All
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with the Alliance’s candidates in Wasit Governorate, where H.E. praised the efforts of the Victory Battalion team, commending the candidates for their dedication and strong belief in success. H.E. emphasized that within the Alliance, there is no such thing as loss—“everyone is either a winner or one who contributes to the victory of their brothers and colleagues.”
H.E. explained that the Alliance’s relationship with its candidates is one of shared purpose, not a temporary electoral connection. While acknowledging that personal ambition is natural, H.E. affirmed that Iraq’s national interest must remain the ultimate priority, noting that empowering the National State Powers Alliance directly strengthens Iraq and serves its people.
H.E. highlighted that Iraq has presented a balanced model in addressing regional issues without becoming entangled in them. H.E. also pointed out that part of the targeting faced by the Alliance stems from its commitment to freedom of thought and expression, adding that it does not respond to hostility with hostility, but through dialogue, clarification, and resolution of misunderstandings.
H.E. further noted that the experience of Al-Hikma National Movement has become an example emulated by many other political forces.
Concluding the meeting, H.E. stressed that all political work must be done with sincerity and devotion to Allah, urging candidates to avoid making unrealistic promises and instead focus on achievable and practical commitments. H.E. also called for refraining from disputes with others, maintaining open communication with the public, and remaining accessible—without changing contact numbers or residences—to strengthen trust and transparency with citizens.
