    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Lauds Elections Success, Affirms Iraq Accumulates Positives, Enhances International, Regional Presence

    Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, welcomed a delegation from the Atlantic Council for Strategic Studies at his office this evening, where the two sides exchanged views on the Iraqi landscape following the country’s successful election process and its strengthened democratic course. 
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem praised the significant efforts of the Government, the Independent High Electoral Commission, the security services, the media, and both local and international monitoring networks in ensuring the elections were conducted smoothly and transparently. 
    His Eminence emphasized the importance of turning electoral plegdes into actionable programs that meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people, while calling for the formation of a strong and effective government capable of enhancing performance and responding to citizens’ needs. 
    H.E. also noted the value of the high voter turnout, viewing it as a clear sign of the Iraqi people’s commitment to peaceful power transfer and their firm adherence to the democratic path as the basis for state governance. 
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that Iraq is accumilating positive achievements and is working to expand its relations with its Arab, regional, and international surroundings in ways that protect its people's interests, uphold its sovereignty, and strengthen its constructive role in the region.
