Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms to Prioritize Public Interest, Complete Constitutional Entitlements
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met on Sunday morning, February 1, 2026, in His office in Baghdad, MP Jawad Al-Saadi, Secretary-General of the Jihad and Construction Movement.
The meeting discussed developments in Iraq’s political scene, the upcoming electoral processes, and the completion of the three presidencies file, in line with constitutional requirements and in a way that supports political stability in the country.
H.E. reiterated the importance of placing the public interest above narrow interests and moving ahead with finalizing legislation and laws that directly benefit citizens, stressing the need to share the national burden and assume collective responsibility.
H.E. also emphasized the importance of promoting dialogue in the region and avoiding escalation, due to its negative impact on Iraq’s security, stability, and the interests of its people.
