Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Al-Amiri Stress Adherence Constitutional Timelines, Coordination Framework Unity, Call to End War, Stabilize Region
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received this morning in his office the Secretary-General of Badr Organization, Mr. Hadi Al-Amiri, where both sides discussed developments in Iraq’s political landscape and the process of forming the new government.
His Eminence stressed the need to adhere to constitutional timelines without delay, calling for maintaining the unity of the Coordination Framework and noting that it has presented an important political model during the previous phase.
H.E. also affirmed the importance of ensuring that the largest component is represented in a manner commensurate with its weight, in a way that serves the national interest of all Iraqis.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem further highlighted the necessity of achieving a lasting end to the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran and preventing the region from sliding into further escalation, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding this conflict and its repercussions on the region and the wider world.
