Sayyid Al-Hakeem Commends Political Performance Advancement, Peaceful Power Transfer Consolidation
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received Thabit Al-Abbasi, Head of Al-Hasam Alliance.
The meeting addressed the latest developments related to the political landscape in Iraq, as well as discussions on the file of vacant ministerial portfolios in the government of Ali Al-Zaidi.
Both sides affirmed the importance of pressing forward with fulfilling governmental entitlements following the conclusion of Eid Al-Adha holiday, with His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem calling for further constructive dialogues and discussions among political forces to resolve outstanding issues.
H.E. also pointed to the importance of preserving the security and political stability achieved in the country, noting that disagreements among political forces remain contained within their legal and democratic framework. H.E. regarded this as a positive indicator reflecting tangible advancement in the political performance of the blocs and a consolidation of the principles of democracy and the peaceful transfer of power.
