Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Popular Mobilization Forces to be Part of Iraqi Security System
During his tour of the Holy Najaf Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, visited the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces Commission in the Governorate and met with a number of its leaders and fighters, extending his blessings on the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer — the greatest Eid of Allah — and affirming the value of loyalty to Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT).
H.E. noted during the meeting the divine laws that affirm opportunities are born from within challenges, citing the emergence of the Popular Mobilization Forces in confronting terrorism and the occupation of territory, and recalling the historic role of the Supreme Religious Reference Authority and its renowned fatwa of collective defensive jihad.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed the importance of the Popular Mobilization Forces law in preserving the political system and safeguarding this security institution as part of the security system, operating under the command of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and commended the steps taken toward consolidating weapons under state authority. H.E. also called for the care of the families of martyrs and the distribution of land plots to them and to Commission members — plots that are fully serviced so as to provide them with a dignified life.
