Sayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Coordination between Local Governments, Parliament Supporting Service Projects
His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the National State Powers' Alliance bloc in the local governments, where the state of services across the governorates was discussed.
H.E. stressed the necessity of delivering services to citizens and conducting field visits to understand people's needs and work toward meeting them. H.E. also affirmed the necessity of coordinating with the governorates' representatives in Parliament to champion the governorates' projects at the service and developmental levels.
H.E. affirmed the importance of stability in local governments and complementary performance with the other political blocs — and between provincial councils, governors, and service ministries — to complete projects, particularly those with high completion rates.
H.E. outlined the nature of the political landscape in Iraq under Mr. Ali Al-Zaidi's government, noting that Iraq is going through a financial strain due to regional developments, which requires setting priorities and supporting the government in its service, developmental, and reform path and its anti-corruption drive.
