Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Current Stage Requires Radical Economic Reforms, Diversifying Income Sources
His Eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received this morning at his office a delegation from the Change Movement, in the framework of an exchange of views on developments in Iraq's political landscape.
The meeting addressed the file of completing the government formation, with H.E. stressing the necessity of completing the ministerial cabinet and selecting ministers of competence and integrity.
H.E. also affirmed the importance of seizing the current period to reach genuine and radical solutions to economic problems, through diversifying income sources, moving away from the rentier state model, and diversifying export outlets.
H.E. stressed the importance of resolving the outstanding issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in accordance with the law, the constitution, and the public interest.
