Sayyid Al-Hakeem: to Support Housing Projects, Economic Reform, Pillars to ConfrontCurrent Challenges

At the guesthouse of Sheikh Ali Hammad Al-Mohammadi, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a gathering of sheikhs and dignitaries of Fallujah and the Al-Mahamda tribe.
H.E. noted that this was his second visit to the Al-Mahamda guesthouse, an extension of a longstanding connection between forefathers and ancestors that will be passed on to sons and grandsons, affirming the importance of mutual visits for reviewing the country's affairs, and recalling recent regional events and their impact on Iraq's reality, particularly the economic file.
H.E. explained that previous challenges were security- and social-related, whereas the current challenge is an economic one requiring the mobilization of all available capabilities; it was on this basis that Mr. Ali Al-Zaidi was chosen to lead the country to safety, given his knowledge and experience of Iraq's administrative structure.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem also stressed the need to increase oil production, diversify export outlets, attract foreign investment, and enter into economic partnerships in line with Iraq's interest, in a manner that achieves a qualitative leap in revenues, energy, and electricity, affirming the importance of developing radical solutions for the electricity sector at all stages.
In a separate context, H.E. praised the "One Million Plots of Land" initiative for helping ease the housing crisis, on condition that these plots be provided serviced with infrastructure.
