Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Preserving Iraqi Diversity, Managing Components
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received Sheikh Sattar Jabbar Al-Helou, Head of the Sabian Mandaean Community, in the presence of Dr. Rami Joseph, Head of the Diwan of Christian and Minority Endowments, and Mr. Ra'fat Jassib Muhawi, Director-General of Sabian Mandaean Affairs. H.E. recalled the historical relations with the esteemed Sabian component, stressing the necessity of preserving it and safeguarding its political representation.
H.E. also affirmed the importance of preserving diversity in Iraq, and moving it toward a stage of management that makes the ethnic and religious components bridges of communication with the peoples of the region and the world.
