Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Economic Challenge Tops Current Phase Priorities
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha, Head of the Iraq Awakening Conference, and discussed with him developments in the political situation in the country and the region, as well as the challenges confronting Iraq in the current period.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the necessity of joint efforts by all to overcome the challenges, calling for rejecting sectarian discourse and prioritizing the public interest over private interests.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem noted that the economic challenge comes at the forefront of the challenges, calling for seizing the opportunity to diversify the economy and oil export outlets, noting that Iraq is a country with many potentials, but is experiencing a state of financial hardship due to events in the region and declining exports, stressing the necessity of understanding the nature of the current force majeure circumstance.
