Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Weapons Consolidation File to Address Through Dialogue, Understanding
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received a delegation from the Political and Executive Bureau of Harakat Al-Nujaba, and the two sides exchanged congratulations on the anniversary of the Holy Prophet's Birth (Mawlid Al-Nabawi), and discussed developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, and the impact of the ongoing war on the Iraqi economy.
H.E. affirmed that the economic challenge represents a pressing challenge for the Iraqi state, given the dire circumstance that has caused a decline in Iraq's oil exports and a shortage of revenues, calling for seizing this stage by moving toward diversifying the economy, bringing investments into the country, and diversifying export outlets.
Regarding the consolidation of weapons under state authority, H.E. said that this file is an Iraqi one in terms of timing and the mechanism followed, as well as the dialogue and understanding that must be ensured, affirming that the factions' weapons are weapons that confronted terrorism and offered thousands of martyrs in order to liberate the land and restore the state, calling for valuing the efforts of the mujahideen and immortalizing their heroic stories.
