    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Extends His Condolences Over the Death of Scholar Sayyid Mohammad Baqir Al Muhri


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, expressed his sadness and condolences over the death of scholar Sayyid Mohammad Baqir Al Muhri, the supreme religious authority’s representative in the sister state of Kuwait on Saturday, 4/7/2015.
        His eminence remembered the role played by Al Muhri in defending Islam, Muslims and the nation’s causes, explaining that the nation has lost one of its most eminent men. He prayed the Almighty to have mercy on the deceased and grant patience to his parents and relatives.
    Below the text of the statement:
    In the name of Allah, The All-Merciful
     
        Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return. It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we have received the news of the death of his eminence scholar Sayyid Mohammad Baqir Al Muhri, the religious authorities’ representative…As we announce his death (may Allah have mercy on his soul), we remember the attributes of good believers and faithful prophets of Allah and religious scholars who have dedicated their life in the service of their original message.
    His eminence was that hardworking scholar and loyal believers who spent his honorable life serving his dogma and his country. He had an active personality and had an influence in his country with his honorable record of fighting the dictatorship of Saddam and overcoming the related ordeals.
    On this painful occasion, I extend my condolences to the grand authorities and to the Kuwaiti leadership and people, to the deceased’s parents and to all the believers, and I ask Allah that He grants him the highest degrees of Paradise and give his parents patience, He is All-Hearing All-Responsive…
