Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem urges citizens to vote, candidates to present their electoral platforms
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, urged citizens to participate in the elections and vote, and for the candidates to present their electoral programs. His Eminence tweeted on Saturday 22/5/2021, “Ballot boxes are the only way to reform and change the situation, especially since the upcoming elections are different from the previous ones, as these will take place under different conditions and new law, and they are crucial and a gateway to reform if the requirements are met.”
His Eminence called on the Iraqi government to hold elections on time and to establish the proper conditions, on top of which is “electoral security” that secures effective participation for everyone, far from an atmosphere of despair and frustration. Moreover, calling on political powers and candidates to compete with honor and to present their electoral platforms to the public, urging citizens to be informed and have broad active participation in the elections.
