Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem emphasizes Christian component’s active presence in Iraq
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, during his meeting with the head of Al-Rafidain bloc, Mr. Yonadam Kanna, in his office in Baghdad today, Sunday, May 30, 2021, stressed the importance of an active presence of the Christian component in Iraq. His Eminence called for the unity of the Christian people and; for the Christian quota to express the will of the Christians. His Eminence has also restated his opinion on the presence of the Christian component and that it shall be given its fair share on level of representation, saying, "Christians are a qualitative addition to our society and they are our window to the Christian world; through managing diversity in this country."
